Many of the alumni and current parents of Mount Kelly UK came to join us at this prestigious event.

A wonderful time was had by all.

Consulate General of Malaysia Visit

We were honoured to welcome the Consulate General of Malaysia on their visit to Mount Kelly Hong Kong School. On Friday, 24th November, the Consulate attended all of our Mount Kelly campuses from our Preparatory Schools at Hung Hom Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui (Austin Tower), the International Preschool Campus, and the Adventure Play Centre.

As always we are so lucky that Hong Kong boasts the most beautiful skyline and the Consulate General viewed a stunning sunset from our Hung Hom Bay campus.  We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Consulate General of Malaysia for coming to visit us.

On Sunday 12th November, The Head of Prep Nick Rothwell and Head of Preschool Abigail Carr and I represented the Mount Kelly Foundation at the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph in Hong Kong. On behalf on MKSHK, I laid a Mount Kelly wreath at the Cenotaph to honour all the service men and women killed in two world wars and other conflicts. In particular, we remember the Old Mount Kelleians who fell in the First World War and the Second World War.

In the Preschool last week, pupils had been learning about the tradition of British Remembrance and Poppies were available for a donation to the Royal British Legion, Hong Kong and China Branch.

Mount Kelly International Preschool Opens its Doors

A very historic day for Mount Kelly in Hong Kong, as the Preschool opens its doors for the very first time. The brand new International Preschool at The Austine Place, 38 Kwun Chung Street, Kowloon welcomed its first Founding Pupils to their classrooms this morning. The new school operates the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and caters for children at Nursery and Reception age who can then move onto Mount Kelly Preparatory School.  Both children and staff were very excited for this very first day of the Preschool’s operation. Congratulations to all of the pupils, parents and staff of Mount Kelly International Preschool on the successful opening of the school, on this, the first day of the new term!
