Life at MKSHK is designed to be busy, fun and, most importantly, fulfilling. Formal teaching work is only one part of a child’s learning experience. Our belief that learning extends beyond the classroom means that we aim to provide all children with an extensive programme of co-curricular activities, as well as ensuring there is scope within their daily routines to play and enjoy each other’s company is less structured contexts.
The pastoral care of each child is also a central feature of life at MKSHK. Through our Form Tutor and House systems, children are encouraged to develop relationships with peers, children from other year groups and different members of staff, resulting in a strong and vibrant school community. We aim to create a happy, safe and nurturing environment in which children can foster a sense of belonging, respect for one another and good global citizenship.
